Community Service Awards Nominations Now Being Accepted.
The Club annually honors non-Rotarians in our community by presenting Paul Harris Fellowship recognition to persons nominated by our membership for meritorious “Service above Self” displayed in their activities with others. Recognition is made in for service in the same categories as we acknowledge within Rotary: Club Service (to other non-Rotary clubs or non-profits), Community Service, Vocational Service, Youth Service, and International Service. Club members are encouraged to consider the work performed by others in the community and make a nomination. The nomination period closes on March 7. The awards ceremony is planned for our Club meeting at Meson Sabika on April 4. Please contact Dick Galitz for more information at 630-561-9631 and by email at dickgalitz@att.net.
The annual Holiday Parade of Lights is the signature fundraiser of the Rotary Club of Naperville. Held in Downtown Naperville on Friday evening the day after Thanksgiving, the parade features festive floats, musical performers, and Santa makes an appearance at the end. All money raised goes back to local non-profit organizations who support our community in meaningful ways.
